Position Summary
As a Marketing Services Representative for Virtual Causeway, you will act as a direct extension of our clients’ marketing and sales teams in executing a high volume of business-to-business (B2B) conversations via telephone. You will have contact with executives of Fortune 1000 companies by working on various client projects ranging from event recruitment to lead generation. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in professional telephone calls with high-level executives and other potential clients
- Gaining understanding of clients’ business objectives to position client needs in product awareness, promoting events/campaigns, and qualifying prospects
- Conducting and gathering competitive intelligence and research on specific markets and companies
- Updating databases to ensure that all prospect information is captured accurately and promptly
- Meeting or exceeding required output levels for various sales and marketing-focused projects

Our ideal candidate will exhibit an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and focused approach to help leverage existing marketing programs and sales efforts. Additionally, you will possess:
- Marketing, Business or Technology-related post secondary education, or related experience in either sales or marketing fields preferably in the technology industry
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong phone and customer service skills complemented by confidence and the ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to excel independently
- Self-motivated and able to work in a strong team environment
- An ability to set and achieve goals and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve project and team objectives
- Experience with contact management software and web-based research tools are an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
