This is an exciting opportunity for senior inside sales staff currently working within the technology sector to move into a more challenging and rewarding role - you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best sales and marketing minds in North America, and help them streamline and improve their business development processes!
As a Business Development Specialist (BDS) you will be a key player in effectively articulating our clients' corporate messages in a consultative solution selling approach, to successfully promote leading-edge technology products and services. The ideal candidate will be viewed as the subject-matter expert for customers; therefore critical to success in this role is an in-depth knowledge of our clients' solutions, market intelligence, and a keen interest in technology. The successful candidate must be comfortable speaking with Fortune 1000, small and medium business customers - from users to CEOs!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing and qualifying leads and effectively managing a sales pipeline. You will engage with our clients' sales staff and business partner to help them move your opportunities forward in the sales cycle. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and strategic thinker; motivated by a fast-paced environment and eager to learn and develop their career.
You will achieve success through a combination of Internet research, data profiling, marketing activities, and most importantly, cold calling.

Responsibilities
- A HUNTER who excels at working within a designated territory to prospect, develop, qualify client expectations and produce qualified leads resulting in high quality sales opportunities
- Create, deliver, and tailor messages and value propositions to effectively support new business opportunities through a "solutions-based" sales approach and selling around objections
- Qualify sales leads from marketing driven campaigns
- Perform research on companies as a component of lead generation and qualification activities utilizing the web and other research tools available
- Develop detailed summaries of qualified leads for company representatives to understand a prospect's business pain and infrastructure
- Maintain high levels of motivation and be engaging, with outstanding communication skills and solid team ethics

Qualifications
- Experience selling business solutions in a consultative manner; evidence of success in achieving quotas
- 2-5 years sales or lead generation experience, preferably in software IT solution sales
- An ability to develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with senior decision-makers
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to excel independently
- Experience with contact management software and web based research tools is an asset
- A degree in business or technology
- Able to work flexible hours, as we service clients across North America
- A positive attitude and the drive to succeed!!
